Doug Klozzner spent 10 years in New York City as an artist and rock musician before turning to film, working as sound recordist, assistant editor, assistant director and, finally, writer. After having several original screenplays optioned and working for hire on numerous rewrites and adaptations, he turned professional.

His produced credits include the features FALLING AWAKE (2010) from IFC Films with Emmy Award-winning director Agustin (El Vacilón: The Movie), ROUGH WINDS (2009) with Spoon Entertainment and YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO REMAIN VIOLENT (2009). Doug has been profiled in Script magazine as an up-and-coming screenwriter. He is a proud autodidact.
