Doug Klozzner spent ten years in New York City as an artist and rock musician before turning to film, working as sound recordist, assistant editor, assistant director and, finally, writer. In 1997 he wrote, scored and directed his own short, Take One. After having several original screenplays optioned and
working for hire on numerous rewrites and adaptations, he turned
professional.
His screenplay credits include the feature Wonderwall
with Emmy Award-winning director Agustin (El Vacilón: The Movie)
and I Got Lotsa Friends currently in preparation with Academy
Award-winning producer Barrie M. Osborne (The Lord of the Rings).
He also co-wrote a produced 2006 theatrical performance piece, Fallen Angel, with acclaimed NYC artist Chio Flores. Doug has been
profiled in Script magazine as an up-and-coming screenwriter.
He is a proud autodidact.
